POSITION: RADIATION ONCOLOGY CONSULTANT

Salary : AUD 170k to 250k
Location : New Zealand

Position Purpose:

Our client is actively seeking dedicated Radiation Oncology Consultants to join their distinguished medical team. The successful candidates will lead and contribute to their Radiation Oncology department, providing exceptional care to patients and contributing to advancements in cancer treatment. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and collaboration within a dynamic healthcare environment. services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Radiation Oncology department, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
  • Provide expert consultation on complex cases and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Medical Oncologists and Surgeons, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced technology and techniques for radiation therapy.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in Radiation Oncology.
  • Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials to contribute to the field’s knowledge base.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Experience:

  • Experience not required but beneficial.
  • Proven track record of excellence in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest advancements in Radiation Oncology.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of training in South Africa.
  • FC Rad qualification.
